His session, “One Packaging System, Four Rulebooks: RAM 2027, DRS, Northern Ireland and PPWR,” will address a growing challenge for the packaged goods industry: how do you manage one physical packaging system when different regulatory frameworks apply?
PPWR, RAM 2027, Deposit Return Schemes (DRS) and Northern Ireland requirements each bring their own rules, classifications and data requirements. Yet they can all apply to the same products, packaging components and packaging systems.
This means the challenge is no longer simply understanding each regulation. Organisations also need to understand which rules apply where, what packaging data is required and how to manage that information consistently across markets.
Hans will explore this challenge and explain why a structured packaging data foundation is becoming increasingly important as regulatory requirements continue to evolve.
